About The Job

We are looking for a HubSpot Solutions Architect (aka HubSpot Ninja) to join our Technical Fulfillment team. This is not a 1 man army position, we have an existing Technical Fulfillment team and you will be working alongside those team members and have support from junior HubSpot Ninjas. Solutions Architects lead Solutions Design and Audit engagements to help map customer requirements to their HubSpot solution, and get pulled into projects by our consulting team when they require technical insight beyond their abilities. This role is client facing, but is not responsible for end to end implementation or hands on code, and primarily focuses on strategic deliverables to guide the rest of our team’s delivery. Professional Services experience is preferred, but not required. If you're not in a current HubSpot services role, but have managed an integration or extensibility project on HubSpot and are interested in the position we’d love to talk to you.

Your Technical Skills

  • You can translate rough business requirements to technical specifications
  • Ability to read API documentation and understand what's possible
  • Familiarity with JSON, JavaScript, and relational databases
  • High level of expertise on the HubSpot platform (sales, service, marketing, CMS)
  • Advanced Hubspot Sales and Marketing Admin Capabilities
  • Experience with iPaaS or integration platform solutions (Zapier, Tray.io, Workato, etc)
  • Expertise with data modeling and designing systems infrastructure
  • High familiarity with HubSpot’s API
  • In depth knowledge of Webhooks and REST APIs
  • General software and technology expertise

A Normal Day in the role

  • Work with a startup SaaS company to architect an integration between
    HubSpot Sales and Service and their project management system to automate service and marketing workflows
  • Design an integration between a video streaming service and your clients HubSpot marketing platform to power churned subscriber win back journeys
  • Design a series of custom coded actions, sharing rules, and workflows to power a solution where inside sales agents can only view 50 contacts at a time
  • Help our product team design a custom quote template that will pull in the Stripe checkout experience and tie back the transaction to a deal ID
  • Get added to a client call by a Solutions Consultant to speak to the client product team about how to push their usage data to HubSpot so that it can power product led growth strategies
  • Join sales calls to serve as a “sales engineer” and assist with speccing SOWs for new clients
  • Support a junior developer on which API to use to query email open data
  • Map out a data model to support a customer portal with LMS requirements alongside our WebOps UX designer
  • Diagram your proposed solutions using Lucidchart or other diagramming tools
  • Present solutions to clients and articulate technical concepts as understandable business use cases

Marketing Strategist

As a Geekly Media Marketing Strategist, you’ll play a significant role in a growing company. As a part of our Marketing Team, you’ll report directly to our Vice President of Marketing Fulfillment to help our clients discover the value Geekly Media can provide to their organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Track and manage the marketing metrics for client accounts and Geekly Media success

  • Review client accounts daily/weekly to see if the strategy is on/off target and collaborate with fulfillment team on any changes and modifications

  • If metrics (traffic, rankings, leads, etc.) are off, establish a plan on how to fix them

  • Document all client strategy. Track and manage all of the notes and metrics for each client. (Includes meeting notes)

  • Coordinate with Geekly fulfillment team to execute on client’s marketing strategy

  • Depending on the type of client, meetings with clients will happen either weekly, monthly, or quarterly

  • Create a marketing strategy template to use with clients and Geekly

  • Create a templated meeting structure when meeting with clients

  • Coordinate contract adjustments and renewals with the fulfillment team for new strategy plans

  • Strategist will collaborate with sales on any new contracts that go out

  • Come up with the creative messaging, put it into action, and document it within the marketing strategy template

  • Work with clients through any escalations

  • Ability to strategize side projects (along with standard contract) for clients when requested

Requirements:

  • Marketing strategy experience preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is highly preferred

  • Proven ability to maintain highly valuable and outcome-based relationships with a diverse customer account base

  • Passion for working with Clients and a desire to deeply understand Geekly Media and HubSpot benefits, use cases, and technical elements

  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation), with the ability to explain technical subjects to non-technical end user personnel in large enterprises

  • Ability to build credibility and trust by understanding and addressing customer requirements

What you’ll do:

  • Gathering project requirements from stakeholders.
